The Tangled Wood

I never imagined it is such a big and nice and cozy place by looking from devils Glen road. I just loved the atmosphere, food, beer and the friendly people with pretty fast service. It would be fun to go back there with group of friends on game days to enjoy the outside seating and the game on big screen. The mango beer was a good option to try. Won’t hesitate to visit this place again.

Staff: the staff was good. We had a 25 minute wait on a Friday night around 630 when a band was playing which isn’t terrible. We received our drinks right away. My wife ordered a blueberry boyfriend sour beer(guess I’m not good enough), and it came out quickly. Our appetizer of Buffalo chicken wontons were out at a okay time seeing how packed it was. Building: was clean and spacious.has outdoor seating for the band where you can sit at park benches or bring your own lawn chairs. Parking: parking is a nightmare when the place is packed. Almost have to wait for someone to leave to get a spot. Food: the food is great. You have to try their pizzas! Star rating: 4 stars because of the parking. I enjoy the bands. I enjoy the food but I avoid this place on Fridays and Saturdays unless the wife begs to go. I love the food and the atmosphere! A must go to, even if parking is an issue! New to the QC and this is easily one of my favorite spots. When I tell you I dream about the crab Rangoon dip & pizza I’m not lying. That’s the review. It’s seriously so delish and I’m obsessed. This place is kinda what dreams are made of

The appetizer was good...my only critique would be wish we it had more dip served with it. The fried wontons were large and fried perfectly. My salad was good I only wish I had asked for the dressing in the side. The meatloaf sandwich was amazing! Will definitely be back!

We arrived at a slow time, but still had a really bad experience. First host took us to a table hadn’t been cleaned yet, then we waited for almost 20 mins for our server to bring the drink and took our order. And for the drink- peach mojitos, it is ridiculous for $12 price. I got a glass like picture shows, not even a full glass, also no lime or some fruits to garnish it. I can’t say anything about taste, because it has a fruit fly inside, I have to wait another 15 minutes for server come back to return the drink. And for my order- southwest chicken salad, they forgot to put carrots and jalapeño on the top. Food tasted is below average, and the whole eating time, we had to fight with the flies, they are everywhere!
